Hello, my name is Luke.  Please, take a moment to explore my website: the Resource page has many interesting links and I make it my goal to generate at least one quality blog post every week or so.  Please feel free to view my Resume and CV.

Long story short

I graduated from the University of Houston in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology.  I then interned for the 2010 summer at the U.S. Geological Survey’s Troy, NY office – where I participated in field data collection for their hydrology department.  Afterwards, I dove into the oil and gas industry as mudlogger, eventually made may way into remote geosteering, and later as a management technician.

I am now exited from the oil and gas industry, though perhaps not permanently. My new found purpose is to convert all to R. The technical term for my new career position is proselytizeR. Get it?
